Founded in 1851, The Children’s Village partners with families to help society’s most vulnerable children become educationally proficient, economically productive, and socially responsible members of their communities. Through family support, community engagement, and short-term residential interventions, CV helps families, children, and teens succeed. ALANYC’s CORE and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team is asking the chapter to support CV as ALANYC hosts a back-to-school drive to collect 2,000 backpacks and school supplies for their youngest clients. We ask that when attending the summer party, please bring a backpack with one of each item listed above or any of the following items:
