Category: Education

ALANYC continues our series of Lunchtime Zoom Education sessions.  The Professional Development Team strives to bring timely topics to help you meet your unique challenges in the days and weeks ahead.

People are living longer than ever.  This means more years to enjoy your retirement.  However, living longer comes with a new set of challenges, including the possible need for long term care.  The cost of this care is not covered by traditional health insurance and can be a major financial burden if employees do not plan ahead. In this session we will discuss what constitutes long-term care, the risk of occurrence, the costs, and who pays for them. In addition, we will discuss insurance solutions and self-insurance. When it comes to long-term care, it's important for everyone to plan ahead.
