Continuing our mission of giving back to the community, ALANYC will also use this occasion to host a Backpack Drive for Volunteers of America New York (“VAO-Greater New York”). VOA-Greater New York is an anti-poverty organization with a rich 125-year history of serving our neighbors in need. The organization delivers services to more than 11,000 adults and children annually. VOA-Greater New York’s vision is to end homelessness in the New York area by 2050 by providing housing, health and wealth-building services to our neighbors who are experiencing, or are at imminent risk of, homelessness.
