ALANYC continues our series of Lunchtime Zoom Education sessions.  The Professional Development Team strives to bring timely topics to help you meet your unique challenges in the days and weeks ahead.

It was over a year ago when we, as leaders, scrambled to deal with the unforeseen pandemic.  HR has had its own unique set of challenges!

As the dust is beginning to settle, HR leadership is still busy unraveling the upheaval left on their doorstep.  In this session, you will learn what HR professionals are challenged with and what demands employees and firms place on them that have left them sleepless.  Our new way of life is clearly not going away any time soon as working from home and work-life balance have taken on new meaning.  HR professionals must be thought leaders, engaging employees and firms to face the risks ahead and prepare them for processes and policies that will help to mitigate those risks as post-pandemic life becomes our new norm.

Topics to be discussed include:

• Vaccine concerns and considerations
• How to handle employees concerns and refusal to return to work
• Productivity and counting time: Who is minding the store?
• Office safety protocols for employees and visitors
• The hybrid environment: If we build it, will they come?
