The session will feature a discussion on diversity and inclusion in the context of environmental, social and governance (“ESG”) principles.

Fostering more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces requires active participation and commitment to address several issues, including implicit bias and problems in recruiting and engaging diverse sets of attorneys. During this non-CLE webinar, panelists will discuss solutions and best practices to implement meaningful diversity and inclusion programs in legal organizations such as:

  • Implementation of the Mansfield Rule
  • Discussion of diversity and inclusion in the context of ESG principles
  • Involvement of leadership to engage diverse associates
  • The use of metrics to ensure programs are meeting goals
  • And examples of meaningful equity and inclusion programs

This program is suitable for legal organizations of any size and we will cover topics applicable to law firms, government attorney offices, in-house groups and non-government organizations. Come with questions, examples of best practices or share your own experiences about being a diverse attorney in the legal practice.
