Maximizing and Monitoring Productivity across Hybrid Teams

Thursday, August 13, 2020
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Virtual: Zoom

ALANYC continues our series of Lunchtime Zoom Education sessions designed to support our membership as we move toward our new normal in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Professional Development Team strives to bring timely topics to help you meet your unique challenges in the days and weeks ahead.

Join us for a Lunchtime Round-table discussion addressing Best Practices for Maximizing and Monitoring Productivity across Hybrid Teams led by Fred Cohen, CEO, Zola Suite.

Over the past few months, firms have adjusted workflows and adopted new processes to embrace a fully remote workforce. As NYC offices slowly reopen, many practices are facing a new challenge — how to maximize productivity and collaboration across hybrid teams that consist of on-site and remote employees. Equally important, is finding ways in which firm leadership can monitor employees’ productivity beyond billable time.

During this round-table discussion, we will explore the following themes:

Technology:  Dispersed teams mean dispersed decision making. Secure access to data is absolutely essential for team members to make well-informed decisions for clients and the firm. During this discussion, we’ll identify ways that firms can eliminate information silos while keeping data secure.

Collaboration:  Effective communication and collaboration across teams in different locations is challenging. The panel experts will share tried and true processes (and tools) that help streamline communications and enforce accountability.

Tracking Productivity:  Without the ability to check in with employees throughout the day, firm leaders may be concerned with the productivity of remote team members. We’ll share some tools and reports that can help deliver valuable insights on how hybrid teams are spending their working hours.
