Let’s face it.  There is nothing more joyful than a social event filled with amazing ALANYC peeps!

Why karaoke? 

What better way to disconnect from today’s current events and let those endorphins flow?

Where else can you get a read for someone’s taste in music, their ability to work a crowd, and their sense of adventure?  Where else do you get such a perfect, socially sanctioned excuse to show off a little?  To let your voice be heard!

Ever experience that bond after singing a Karaoke duet with a total stranger?  It can be quite powerful.

Have you ever heard the one and only Janine Nedd perform a Carly Simon song to a standing ovation?  How about Paul Schwartz belt out Truckin’ by The Grateful Dead?

Oh, and have you ever been to a real live LDI party?  If the answer is yes, we know you are expecting to be wowed…and you won’t be disappointed!

And…since we are all one big incredible ALANYC family and could all use a special evening now more than ever to celebrate not only the music we love but each other as well, we have decided to continue the LDI tradition of breaking traditions by inviting both Members AND Business Partners to this special BP Hangout!

Recognition and prizes will be awarded for:

• Best Performance
• Best Duet
• Most Challenging Song
• Best Costume (in the spirit of The Masked Singer)
• Best Snap Camera Character Performance
• And a Surprise Category
