This presentation will address a variety of topics and will explore branding, social media, general review on how to introduce marketing to the firms and much more. Moderator: Maziel Abrego, Senior Marketing and Practice Development Manager, Vedder Price. Maziel Abrego is a Senior Marketing and Practice Development Manager at Vedder Price. She oversees the firm’s New York, Washington, DC and Singapore offices. She is responsible for developing and executing business development initiatives for the different practice groups and attorneys. Some of the areas she is responsible for include strategic marketing projects, communications, events, proposals, research, client relationship management (CRM), website and social media activities. Ms. Abrego holds a JD from the Universidad Santa Maria la Antigua (Rep. of Panama) and LL.M. from Fordham University School of Law. She was the President of The Metro New York Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association in 2013 and a current Member of the Board for the Law Firm Media Professionals. CLM Application Credit for Functional Specialists: 1.50 hours in the subject area of (LI) Legal Industry/Business Management towards the additional hours required of some Functional Specialists to fulfill the CLM application.
