About the Author: Melinda Briana Epler, an award-winning communicator and advocate, emphasizes the power of allyship in creating safe, valued workplace environments. Melinda is a strategic diversity, equity, and inclusion advisor to executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and activists worldwide. As part of her changemaking work, she serves as an inclusive leadership coach, trains executive and management teams, and develops learning and development solutions for clients. She hosts a weekly podcast series, “Leading With Empathy & Allyship. Melinda is a TED speaker, award-winning documentary filmmaker, and former executive in marketing and culture. She speaks and writes about diversity and inclusion, allyship, and empathy.
