This session will focus on the 'green' initiatives law firms can take in order to reduce their footprint and make them more sustainable. Catherine will focus on initiatives that have been successfully implemented while Nicole will concentrate on the obstacles faced in implementing new and green proposals, and how to obtain executive sponsorship on the benefits and necessity of change. We will also touch upon what the future may hold in this area and our collective responsibilities to make a positive impact.

Nicole Vives joined Simpson Thacher in 2017 and is currently the Director of Operations and Sustainability. Before working in the legal industry, she had various roles in the finance industry. Nicole received her M.B.A. from Georgetown University and her B.S. from Drexel University.

Catherine Davis joined Fox Rothschild through a merger in 2011 and is currently the Administrative Operations Manager. Prior to her current role, Catherine was the Office Administrator in Fox’s Washington, DC office.
