ALANYC continues our series of Lunchtime Zoom Education sessions.  The Professional Development Team strives to bring timely topics to help you meet your unique challenges in the days and weeks ahead.

Leaders have an opportunity to distinguish themselves by how well they instill confidence, focus, and stability within their teams. For the foreseeable future, employees are likely to experience a heightened degree of anxiety regarding health, job security, and the need for normalcy while working remotely. Leaders and managers play an important role in helping to alleviate some of that stress while engaging and building strength within their teams. This workshop will provide an understanding of the structure of a remote team, and what needs to be done to maintain communication, productivity, and trust. In this workshop, participants will:

  • Learn to effectively manage, inspire, and motivate a remote workforce
  • Understand the importance of active listening and empathy
  • Create clear communication plans to hold your team accountable for their work
  • Takeaway best practices, tools, and action items that can be implemented immediately
